Ben's Honey Farm is owned and run by our family.
Sebastian, Polish beekeeper, a passion for bees since he was little.
Sebastian's adventure with bees started when he was a little boy. His grandfather was a beekeeper and he took him to his apiary. He have loved that since first minute. He finished school for the beekeepers and then University. During his school years he was working with bees in Germany. That was very hard work but he worked hard and learned fast. All of his time in Germany was a fantastic experience and one that he will never forget.

When he came to Scotland he didn't set up my apairy straight away. Few years later he have opened buisness with beekeeping equipment which is working good until now running by his friend. But that was not what he was dreaming about. He decided to set up his own bee farm because that is whathe always wanted to do.
He started with 20 beehives and now he owned 150 and his apiary is getting bigger and bigger every year.
Our Bees
On our farm we are working with two types of bees : Buckfast bee and Carniolan bee. Both of them are extremely gentle with low sting instinct. They are perfect for Scotland because they are doing very well in cold/wet days. Both are good honey producer and really " hard workers".

Our beehives are located on different farms in Aberdeenshire and on the Scottish hills full of heather.

Honey is an organic, natural sugar alternative with no additives that is easy on the stomach and adapts to all cooking processes.
